Argosy beats as profit rises 20%

The operator of riverboat casinos earned 60 cents a share in Q4, up from 46 cents last year and 4 cents over views. Results include a 6 cents a share charge owing to a pending takeover by Penn National Gaming, which is buying Argosy for $2.2 bil. Revenue rose 10% to $255.7 mil. Penn fell 2.5% to 67.68. Argosy Gaming dipped 6 cents to 46.09.
