Stereophonics kicked off the promotion for their fifth studio album last week with a short tour of intimate venues. Details of the club gigs in Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, London and Dublin were revealed to fans on the mornings of each performance.
The shows emphasised the back-to-basics theme of their new album, which has a much heavier feel and signals a departure front their previous mainstream rock sound and the recent slew of ballads. The Kelly Jones-led crew predominantly aired tracks from the band's first two albums, plus a generous handful of songs from the new album.
