It has only recently become too obvious to deny that the European Union is a developing supernational government. Years earlier, the "Common Market" precursor to the EU was deceptively sold to the unsuspecting peoples of Europe as a "free trade" arrangement--just as NAFTA and the FTAA are being deceptively sold now.
