The 503 high-paying jobs moving to San Antonio with Southwestern Bell Corp.'s headquarters relocation could create an additional 475 to 700 jobs for the city to service the operation.

Texas economic consultant Dr. M. Ray Perryman estimates that the move will have a total impact of about 975 jobs including everything from increased business at local office supply companies to food service.
