COOL INTRO: The 47th Annual Grammy Awards airing live Sunday from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on CBS, will begin with performances by five nominated artists: the Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani (performing with Eve), Los Lonely Boys, Maroon5 and Franz Ferdinand.

They will perform separately across three stages at the start of the broadcast, the Recording Academy announced earlier this week.
