When it comes to remembering the 2005 Detroit auto show, what resonates most with those who made the annual pilgrimage is the Motor City's Big Three, in particular, two cars from GM's Saturn division.
The Saturn Sky and Aura are the most significant due to their ability to revitalize Saturn. My favorite is Mercury's Meta One since it comes in a cleaner, more powerful package than its Ford and Volvo brethrens.

Dodge's Charger is an aggressive and sleek-looking four-door. The Hemi, rwd and retro name will certainly have the competition digging up names to attach to next year's concepts.

The Saturn Sky roadster indicates that General Motors brand managers are not asleep at the wheel anymore. Saturn finally has a car that isn't the automotive equivalent of a bedtime story.
