Feb. 5--The Chinese telecom giant Huawei forecasts revenues to nearly double to 10 billion baht or more this year from its operations in Thailand after winning the bid for the nationwide CDMA mobile network expansion project last week.
The company yesterday officially signed the 7.199-billion-baht contract with CAT Telecom for the expansion project at a ceremony presided over by Dr Surapong Suebwonglee, the Information and Communications Technology minister.
