Feb. 5--The Government Housing Bank plans to issue $300 million worth of floating rate certificates of deposit later this month to help support funding needs for the year.

The five-year FRCDs are being arranged by Standard Chartered. Pricing has yet to be announced.

Khan Prachuabmoh, the GHB president, said funds raised from the offering would help cover the bank's lending targets for the year, set at 99 billion baht or over 20 percent growth from last year.

New loan projections include credit lent towards the low-cost Ua-arthorn housing programme as well as homes built under a programme with the Treasury ...
