Feb. 4--Mason County school officials say they have found no other Point Pleasant High School students who say they were given coupons for a free supply of Adderall at school and now think the report by one parent might be a hoax.
"This is beginning to look like a funny story that beat us up," said Superintendent Larry Parsons. "No other children reported receiving cards and no other adults have come forward to give us any information. All we have is one anonymous phone call. We can't find anyone who says anything."
Parsons said Thursday that the investigation was going to be handed over to the West Virginia State Police.…
