Feb. 4--The National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) has approved the investment plans of Thai Airways International Plc for fiscal 2005, valued at 67.2 billion baht.

The national carrier's plans have been revised upward from the previously proposed figure of 33.52 billion baht due to market changes, mainly tougher competition in global aviation, according to a source at the NESDB.
