Feb. 3--Sixty thousand acres in rural Rio Blanco County owned by Harris "Whit" Hudson, former co-owner of the Florida Marlins baseball team, are back on the market.
A group of Louisiana investors offered $15.2 million for the property at a November auction but failed to complete the purchase, said William Bone, president of The National Auction Group, the Gadsden, Ala., company handling the sale.
Bone said his company is "back in touch with other bidders and people who have come forward since the auction" to negotiate a deal.
