** A printer that replicates skin cells using a process similar to that of inkjet printers has been developed at the Univ. of Manchester. Scientists expect the technique, which could treat skin wounds, to be tested in clinical trials in 5 years. The printer multiplies cells taken from a patient's body, suspends them in a liquid similar to ink and sprays them on a small scaffold attached to the skin.
