Wall Street's wild about Harrah's
The casino operator rose 3.7% to 66.19 after earning 68 cents a share ex items in Q4, up 36% and 2 cents over views, as its benefited from its acquisition of the Horseshoe casinos and the continued popularity of Las Vegas as a business and travel destination. Revenue rose 25% to $1.19 bil. Harrah's Entertainment, which is buying rival Caesars Entertainment for $5 bil, plans to use the upscale Caesars' brand for future projects in the U.K., Macau and Singapore. Shares rose 3.5% to 66.19.
