Jakarta, Feb 1 (ANTARA) - The House of Representatives has urged the government to seriously help Indonesian illegal migrant workers in Malaysia as the period of amnesty granted by that country has expired.

"We don't wish our nationals there to be whipped merely because of their ignorance. Therefore the government has the moral responsibility to protect them. It is not enough for the government to only send the manpower minister there, but talks with the Malaysian Prime Minister should be also held," House Speaker Agung Laksono said here on Tuesday. …
