Book time for the book fair!(2004 Yak's Corner Book Fair)
It's time for our annual Yak's Corner Book Fair. This year, our fair will be bigger and better than ever because Yak's Corner is celebrating its 10th birthday. This is our sixth book fair. The Yak holds a free book fair each fall as a present to all our readers in September (The Yak's birthday month).
We're back at the New Detroit Science Center, which means after you hear from some of your favorite authors, you can check out the Science Center exhibits for free.
Look for signs directing book fair visitors to the side entrance of the science center. The science center opens at noon and the book fair activities get under way at 1 p.m.
