Bbc Radio Bristol have pulled in 13,000 new listeners in the last quarter, according to the latest Radio Joint Audience Research (RAJAR) figures.

Released last week, RAJAR's figures show that Radio Bristol now has a weekly reach (listeners who tune in for at least five minutes a day) of 262,000, up from 252,000. The station's share of the radio- listening audience - have increased from 9.6 per cent to 12.6 per cent.

Listeners are staying with the station for longer, too, with an average listening time of 13.57 hours per week, up from 11.49 hours last quarter.
