Feb. 2--Samsung projects sales revenues from its Thai information technology business operations will surge 60 percent this year to exceed four billion baht, fuelled by a new product lineup including high-tech notebook computers and photo printers.

The South Korean consumer electronics maker said its sales would easily outpace the overall IT sales growth rate of 11 percent this year, a figure expected to reach 92.82 billion baht, according to IDC Research.
