Feb. 2--Grant Thornton, a leading international consulting firm, expects to double its business this year to between 400 million and 500 million baht after taking in new partners from Bearing Point Thailand, formerly KPMG Consulting.
More than 20 executives and professionals from Bearing Point led by Peter Walker, Pinpradab Chotiprasidhi, Andrew Hamilton and Ukirt Salyapongs, yesterday moved to their new home at Grant Thornton. They are likely to bring with them 150 million baht worth of business plus another 50 million baht in new businesses, according to Clayton Hebbard, a partner with Grant Thornton in Thailand.
