CMA CGM has bought into the container logistics business of French shipping services group Naxco.
The Marseilles-based liner shipping group has taken an unquantified stake in a new company set up by the two groups to oversee a number of Naxco group companies in the logistics field, including notably Naxco Logistics, TCX and Naxco Container Services.
The operation, which Naxco described as a co-operation venture, will extend CMA CGM's presence in the road transport, container repair and warehousing and distribution sectors.
