THE SUPREME Court dismissed a petition to revive a celebrated criminal case against former First Lady Imelda Marcos, who was accused of graft for sub-leasing a Light Rail Transport Authority lot in 1984.
The graft case became controversial after the high court's Third Division upheld Marcos' conviction in the case in January 1998. However, in a rare turnaround, the court en banc later acquitted her.
