IT'S NOT exactly "The Farm," the insider slang for the United States' Central Intelligence Agency's training camp in Virginia.

But it has the same objectives.

The Philippine National Police yesterday inaugurated its intelligence training school, a three-story facility for aspiring spies located in Camp Crame.

The P15-million school which sits on a 15 x 32 square meter plot is a far cry from the sprawling CIA training facility featured in the Hollywood movie "The Recruit."

But PNP Director General Edgar Aglipay said it was comparable in terms of training police intelligence officers to be more professional in gathering and handling information.
