Feb. 1--Thai Metal Trade executives say the company will not offer a greenshoe option for its upcoming initial public offering, and expressed confidence about the listing given its strong growth prospects.
Panchai Pipattanasakul, TMT's president, said there would be no need for it.
"To some extent, I don't think it is necessary for our company to use a greenshoe option. It just has a psychological affect on investors, and we don't really need that," he said at an investor briefing yesterday.
