Auto parts maker in impressive debut on SET.

Feb. 1--Shares of the auto parts maker Somboon Advance Technology rose strongly yesterday on their debut on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, closing 28.68 percent above the initial public offering price of 12.90 baht per share.
SAT shares, the most actively traded stock in terms of value yesterday, ended the day at 16.60 baht in trade worth 1.39 billion baht. The stock opened trade at 16.90 baht, and traded between a high of 17.70 baht and a low of 16.30 baht.
Verayut Kitaphanich, the president of Somboon Advance Technology, attributed the gains to investor confidence.
