4-Me acquires Goonk Gink glass noodle brand.

Feb. 1--ICC International Plc, the marketing arm of the Saha Group, has acquired Kuang Peisan Group's Goonk Gink, a leading instant glass noodle brand, to expand its 4-Me instant noodle line this year.

While the value of the deal was not revealed, it was estimated that ICC had paid over 10 million baht to Kuang Peisan Group for the purchase of two instant noodle brands -- Goonk Gink this year and U-Me late last year. Controlled by the Tohtubtiang family, Kuang Peisan also owns the well-known Smiling Fish canned sardine brand.
