- The ailing property developer Natural Park Plc said yesterday that it would sell a 10 per cent shareholding in subway operator Bangkok Metro Co (BMCL) to the construction giant Ch. Karnchang for 1.1 billion baht.
- The Finance Ministry is considering a plan to buy bad loans held by tsunami victims to help accelerate debt restructuring and recovery.
- Owners of defective automobiles will soon be able to return them to the manufacturer for a refund or replacement under a new law, according to Industry Minister Pongsak Raktapongpaisal.
- Phuket _ Delegates from 40 countries meeting under the banner of the World Tourism Organisation yesterday adopted an action plan aimed at reviving the tourism industry in tsunami-affected countries by March or April.
