SYDNEY, Feb 1 Asia Pulse - Telecoms company Optus today said it had attracted more than 100,000 broadband customers since entering the DSL market less than 12 months ago.
OptusNet broadband customers now total 310,000, including 210,000 customers on Optus cable broadband.
As at December 31, 2004, Optus had 292,000 broadband subscribers.
"Optus has rapidly established itself as the largest DSL re-seller in the market even though we entered the market later than some competitors less than 12 months ago," said acting managing director of Optus consumer and multimedia Scott Lorson.
