LG CARD BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPROVES CAPITAL REDUCTION.
SEOUL, Feb 1 Asia Pulse - The board of directors at LG Card Co. (KSE:032710) approved a 5.5-to-1 capital reduction plan Monday to get the company back on its feet.
The measure is equivalent to a capital reduction rate of 81.8 per cent. The board said its actions have been posted as required.
A general shareholders meeting will be convened on Feb. 24 to vote on the proposal, which could translate into serious losses for stakeholders in South Korea's second-biggest credit card issuer.
