Market Breaks 3-Week Losing Streak

1Stocks spent most of the week recovering from a Jan. 24 sell-off. The market sagged Friday, but trimmed its losses late in the day, leaving the major indexes with modest gains for the week. The Nasdaq picked up a slim 0.1%, off 7% from its 52-week high. The S&P 500 added 0.3%. Small caps fared the best as the S&P 600 finished up 0.7%.
