T. Rowe Price Q4 profit up 40%

The investment firm earned 71 cents a share compared with 53 cents a year ago, beating views by 5 cents. T. Rowe Price Group's revenue rose 22.9% to $345.5 mil. Investment advisory fees rose 25% to $280.1 mil. Assets under management rose 23.8% to $235.2 bil, with mutual fund assets up 23% to $138 bil. Shares fell 12 cents to 58.76.
