A source has told the Sudanese Media Centre [SMC] that the president of the republic, FM Umar al-Bashir, might meet the UN secretary-general, Kofi Annan, on the sidelines of the AU heads of state summit in the Nigerian capital, Abuja which will start on Sunday [30 January].
