KUALA LUMPUR: City Hall's decision to turn part of Jalan Sentul into a pedestrian walkway has irked school authorities and religious associations.
Although work on the project has not started, traffic diversion work began a few months ago.
Motorists have been directed to Jalan Lima as an alternative route to the part of Jalan Sentul between Sentul Raya and the Tamil Methodist Church which will be turned into a walkway.
Sixteen schools and six religious associations will be affected by the plan.
