Jan. 27--North Mecklenburg High is likely to become the county's -- and North Carolina's -- first 3,000-student school next year, as enrollment continues to swell at the overfilled Huntersville school.
That's one of the nuggets that came out as Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools administrators and school board members reviewed the district's fifth annual "How are we doing?" report Tuesday night.
