American Airlines to offer food services under new programme.

American Airlines has announced that it will start selling snack boxes at USD3 and a sandwich or wrap at USD5 in the main cabin on selected domestic routes longer than three hours, and on transcontinental and Hawaii flights, from 1 February 2005.

According to the airline the new programme is part of its Turnaround Plan, with the motto "Fly Smart: Give Customers What They Value". The plan is reportedly a direct result of collaboration among employees and feedback …
