The NCAA Committee on Women's Athletics recently discussed using male players to practice against women's athletics teams. Committee chair Darlene Bailey, associate AD at SW Missouri State, said the use of male practice players is most common in women's basketball, but other sports like hockey are following suit. "Practice players" must be declared eligible to participate by NCAA standards.
