The recently established supply chain to provide safe poultry and meat in Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam, has gained momentum as more slaughterhouses and supermarkets apply to join.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Public Health held a meeting with relevant agencies Monday to finalize requirements to be imposed on members on the chain.

Seventeen establishments, including four supermarkets, 10 slaughterhouses and three major trading companies in Ho Chi Minh City, have registered to join the chain, and are waiting for the Department's approval for membership.
