Abuja, Nigeria (PANA) - The Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Mohammed Uwais, Monday proposed more training for Nigerian judges in the telecommunications sector to enable them prudently settle disputes in the industry. Uwais said at a workshop for judges on "Legal Issues in Telecommunications" in Abuja that the growth of the industry, motivated by private investments, had generated critical issues in the sector. He listed some of the issues as regulatory environment, competition, interconnection, consumer protection and Internet activities which, he noted, might need adjudication by courts.
