Florida workers' compensation officials are complaining bitterly about abuses by chiropractors, according to the cover story of Florida Trend ("The manipulators," June, '92). A spokesman for the American Insurance Association says that he thinks of workers comp as "the chiropractic full-employment act!" Although DC care accounts for only 6% of the $1.25 billion spent annually on Florida's workers comp, it is singled out as the most egregious example of abuse.
