My smallest system: still a reference.(Skeptimania)(Column)
During one of my previous columns I had promised to discuss my third system, located in my 2,200 cubic foot, L-shaped living room, and so here we go. This living room, like virtually all of the rest of the house, has recently been remodeled, although it was not expanded in size. Basically, the carpeting that was on the slab floor was removed and replaced with hardwood flooring, and different furniture was installed. The installation of a sizeable area rug does not prevent the room from being considerably more reverberant than before, although the presence of an overstuffed couch, an overstuffed love seat, and an overstuffed chair tends to dampen out the reflections ...
