Forgive me if I repeat myself. I don't do it often, but last week's questions concerning the myths and misconceptions about the Luas did get a response from those in authority and, in fairness, I feel it incumbent upon me to share the truth with you, dear readers. Indeed the speed of response was remarkably rapid and Tom Manning, the nice man from the Railway Procurement Agency, deserves much praise as well as even more sympathy, considering the amount of moaning up with which he has to put!
The gracious Tom does agree with me that it is in the nature of the average Dub to moan and that the Luas, in its short but exciting history, has given rise to much in the way of - and I quote him here - "urban myths and canards to grow and feed the moaners' insatiable appetite".
