Cutting the cost of energy waste in new buildings was at the top of the agenda at a conference in Plymouth yesterday. Dozens of architects were among the delegates meeting to hear about new legislation aimed at improving the energy efficiency of buildings.
Altogether more than a hundred experts from the construction industry gathered at the Baylis Suite, in the Tamar Science Park, to learn about the new standards which are intended to be introduced later in the year or early next year.
