Edwin John Hoffman

Edwin John Hoffman, 85, Bradenton, died Jan. 19, 2005.

He was born July 31, 1919, in New York City and came to Manatee County in 1986 from Wyckoff, N.J. He retired as a district manager for Johns Manville Co. in Teaneck, N.J. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from New York University. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bradenton.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor B.; a daughter, Elizabeth Finley of Southfield, Mich.; sons Glenn of Houston and Gregg of Westmont, Ill.; sisters Evelyn Helbig of Rochester, Mich., and Viola Parnell of Syracuse, …
