Minister of Education, Professor Fabian Osuji has said that beginning from January, the Federal Government has begun enforcement of the Universal Basic Education (UBE) law, stressing that henceforth parents that default in sending their children to school may risk going to jail.

Osuji while briefing newsmen yesterday, said government was making a radical departure from the past and will begin to do things the way it is done in other parts of the world.
