There's nothing wrong with the LaCrosse, but nothing leaps out as superb, either-in other words, there is little to get excited about. It's good-looking, if conservatively styled, but that's not detrimental. I heard positive comments at the gas pump and mall, too: Who doesn't like to be praised for their automotive choice?
The balance and on-road driving behavior is decent, as well; there's not much squat, dive or roll. The interior is, to its credit, handsome and enjoys a high build and material quality. The only complaint I have inside is with the buttons on its electronic climate control-they are small and fiddly. Oh, and the back seat is a tight fit, ...
