The fierce bidding war for Hollywood Entertainment Corp. is over, and Movie Gallery came out on top. The Dothan, Ala.-based video-rental chain agreed to take over Hollywood Entertainment in a deal valued at $850 million in cash plus the assumption of $350 million in debt.
