In recent months, clients have been expressing their frustration over the growing numbers of individuals and companies who are undermining Midem by conducting business, in Cannes, without registering at Midem. We were asked to take action ... and fast.

In response to this we have decided to provide registered clients with exclusive access, during show hours, to the bars and meeting rooms of the Gray d'Albion, Majestic, Martinez and Intercontinental Carlton hotels.

The majority of our clients have expressed relief that we are our aim is to satisfy and safeguard the interests of our clients addressing the problem. On the other hand, some people who have been travelling to Cannes, to conduct business without registering at Midem, are slightly less happy.

It is unfair to our registered clients that certain people benefit from this without registering. This attitude has a lot in common with downloading music for free from the Internet and the music industry knows how damaging this is.

Some people don't see why they should pay for Midem because they hold meetings outside the Palais des Festivals, but the reason ...
