I can't get too worked up about movies like "Kangaroo Jack" or "White Noise," which know they're junk. But "In Good Company" is the worst kind of clunker, a dishonest movie that acts as if a real, complicated problem is simple and easy to solve.
A better title for "In Good Company" would be "If You're a Middle-Aged White Guy Who Thinks He's Getting a Bum Deal Because Younger Men and Women Are Getting All the Breaks, You're Right." It's the sort of cynical movie that takes existing prejudices and affirms them instead of showing where they came from or why they might be dangerous.
