According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the VIII International Conference on AIDS, held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, July 19-24, 1992, "Objective: To determine if disease progression or survival in HIV disease was related to p24 antigen status. Methods: The sample consisted of 100 HIV seropositive patients who were followed over a 14-month period. Patients ranged from asymptomatic HIV positive to full-blown AIDS.
