The first meeting of the World Congress on Tuberculosis will be held November 16-19, 1992, in Bethesda, Maryland.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for an international group of scientists, physicians and healthcare workers to discuss prevention and control of tuberculosis (TB), which has re-emerged as a major problem in the U.S. and continues as an important global health threat.
