Haymarket Publishing has bought the women's glossy Eve from BBC Magazines and plans to make it the flagship title in a new women's interest group.

The sale of Eve - Britain's fastest-growing women's monthly - is the result of the BBC's commercial review last year. The corporation pledged to sell any products that didn't link directly with its core programme remit.
