Jan. 13--All adults and children in Massachusetts are now eligible for flu shots, the state's public health commissioner declared yesterday, lifting rationing imposed last fall amid an unprecedented national shortage of vaccine.
After making a major push to vaccinate patients at greatest risk of dying from the flu, especially the elderly, clinics and physician offices report that thousands of doses remain unused from the 1.3 million shots supplied to public and private clinics in Massachusetts.
